Owner and Pharmacist Ernie Pirone opened his first store in the 1980’s and has since been involved with more than 20 pharmacies across Australia.
Ernie saw the need for a pharmacy group that offered customer value supported by exceptional service and so the first SuperChem store was opened in the early 1990’s in the northern suburbs of Perth. The primary aim was to provide affordable healthcare to the local community while delivering advice and information for customers and their families to help achieve desirable health care solutions.
Over time, SuperChem has become a trusted and respected pharmacy brand in Western Australia and more recently in other areas of Australia with a branch now open in Blacktown, New South Wales.

All SuperChem stores carry an extensive range of products to ensure that customers have the widest choice possible and even more importantly, SuperChem adopts a ‘best value’ policy that provides our customers with the most competitive prices possible.
Offering the best advice is also at the core of our business. Our Pharmacists and highly trained staff are always available to assist in the selection of over the counter medications and nutritional supplements or answer any queries customers may have about their prescription medications, ailments or desirable health outcomes. All SuperChem pharmacies are QCPP (Quality Care Pharmacy Practice) accredited ensuring that our Pharmacists and staff provide the customers and patients of SuperChem the highest standards of service and advice.
We offer the local community a delivery service for their medication needs and we also provide dose administration aids (Webster packs) as an added service to both Nursing Homes and to local patients in need. SuperChem provides Home Medication reviews, MedsChecks and Diabetes MedsChecks in the pharmacy as well as other programs.
We are also in the process of adding wellness programs and other medical and nursing services to our business, and, we remain committed to further enhance our services to the local community in the future.
